EnvironMine Data Services was established in 2007 after a need for the provision of a total environmental monitoring service for Mining, Industry, & Government sectors was  identified.

EnvironMine Data Services is in the unique position of being able to offer both manual sampling & automated monitoring services at the same cost-effective rate. This is not typical in the environmental field where automated monitoring services are often far more expensive due to the specialised nature of the work involved. We have developed the appropriate skills & experience to enable us to provide both types of services from within the same organisation & with the same cost structure. We are therefore able to pass on this benefit in the form of cost savings to our clients without compromising on service quality. An added benefit of a total monitoring service to the client is simplified contractor management. Steve Orr has been involved in the environmental field since 1982 when he began as an Engineering Assistant (Hydrology) in Wellington New Zealand. Emigrating to Australia in 1987 he became a Hydrographer with Ecowise Environmental (then known as the ACTEW Hydrographic Section). Since that time he has been involved in a diverse range of environmental monitoring projects & has worked in most States & Territories around Australia, Papua New Guinea, & India. Along the way he has developed a substantial skills & knowledge base that now enables him to establish a total environmental monitoring service under the banner of EnvironMine Data Services.
